Writing in Public, Too: NaNoWriMo Day 26

Wow. Big day today.
Up at 8am, grabbed breakfast, and then out the door to get a small moving van. Movers arrived at 9:30, and before 11 everything I owned was loaded up. By noon, everything was in the new apartment. Not unpacked, mind you –  but the old place is cleaned, emptied, and I\’m installed.

Phew. 🙂

The rest of the day was mostly devoted to trying to play catch up on my NaNoWriMo word count. I\’ve only got until Sunday night to finish, you see – but I work the 3-11 shift this Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! So I\’ve got limited hours, after today. Which meant really trying to crank through word count today.

I got in about two thousand words before dinner. Made a great dinner of chicken sausage, green beans, brussel sprouts, and noodles, and watched an episode of Game of Thrones. Still in the first season – sort of playing catch up. I think the show is doing a remarkable job. What I\’m most curious about is whether it can hold my interest after most of the major characters are killed off… That was why I stopped reading the books. Got tired of people dying. 😉

Then back to writing, and got another two thousand words in. The story is humming along now. I have a great feel for where it is going, and I am well into new territory, past the part I was redrafting. Which makes the project all the more exciting.

I don\’t have a good plot for the second and onward episodes, yet. So I figure on releasing this first one as a pilot, and then releasing more later on. The first story will probably come out in January at some point.
