Writing in Public, Too: Day 18, and still sick

This bug, whatever it is, is just brutal. Still sick, been in bed all day long.
Did get down to see the doctor. My strep test came back negative, and although they did a second \”stick the q-tip down your throat\” culture to send out, the basic advice came down to this:

Go home, get plenty of rest, drink fluids.

Sigh. 🙂

So I spent most of today resting. And I\’m headed back there momentarily. I got in a token 500 words earlier today, during one \”up\” time, and called work to say \”hi, I can\’t keep my eyes open for more than an hour or so at a time, so I\’ll be staying home again tomorrow\”. Hopefully will feel better tomorrow… Not used to being sick for so long!
